Close protection for defence companies and critical infrastructure operators

Discreet protection for executives, key personnel and delegations from companies with heightened protection needs: threat assessment, escorts to appointments and when travelling, and coordination with in-house corporate security.

A close protection officer walks an executive across a rain-wet forecourt from a corporate building to a saloon in the evening, holding the rear door open.

Your situation

When your sector is in the spotlight

In the defence and security industry and at critical infrastructure operators, attention is often focused not only on the company but also on the people who represent it.

  • Executives in exposed roles

Board members, managing directors and site managers represent the company and are associated with its decisions.

    Typical occasions

    • Annual general meetings and press events
    • Industry trade fairs and specialist conferences
    • Appointments where protests have been announced
  • Key personnel

Project leads and specialists whose knowledge or role can make them a target.

    Typical occasions

    • Journeys between site, hotel and appointment
    • Periods of heightened attention
    • Specific warnings or incidents
  • Delegations and guests

Visits by partners, customers or government officials that need to run smoothly and in confidence.

    Typical occasions

    • Airport arrivals and transfers
    • Plant and site visits
    • Evening programmes and side events
  • Sensitive sites

Access points, visitor management and procedures wherever exposed individuals work or receive visitors.

    Typical occasions

    • Assessing access points and routes
    • Procedures for visits and events
    • Coordination with in-house site security

Protection plan

Protection for people, not just for premises.

Fences, access control and in-house site security protect the site. As soon as an executive leaves it, drives to a trade fair or collects guests from the airport, those measures no longer cover them. This is exactly where close protection comes in.

A protection plan connects the two. It sets out who is protected and when, which routes and appointments are critical and how the handover between site security and close protection works. That keeps protection seamless without duplicating structures.

  • Protection for exposed employees at appointments and on trips
  • Handovers between in-house site security and close protection
  • Procedures for visits, delegations and events
  • One point of contact for corporate security
